Evaluation: Target Audience Research Summary

Target Audience Research Summary

Based on the actual findings of our Target Audience Research, I found that most of the people that answered to the question "Do you think the character representation of teenagers were met" agreed to the fact that they were actually met as 75% of the responses said yes, but 25% said that could've been better. To improve the character representation of teenagers in the film, we could have portrayed young people to a few stereotypes  that are not always necessarily bad in media texts; this is to make the film more interesting to the eyes of an audience.

To the question  "What was your favorite part of the opening scene to this film?" I received a variety of answers such as the restaurant scene, the crossed pictures on the wall, the deception and the glance of the killer".

What was very nice, is the fact that everyone that answered to the question "Would you see the rest of the film if you could" said Yes, a full 100% response rate.

I appreciate the feedback left from the audience as they left constructive criticism such as When the character put his glasses down, it could be zoomed in more. To improve the quality of the film I would now use a more consistent variety of camera shots and angle shots to essentially display a better story-line of our film.

The audience easily said that could identify the genre of the film as I received an 100% response rate and I'm really glad.

For the choice of character I was surprised as everyone left amazingly positive comments.

To the question "Is this horror film similar to the horror films you normally see" 62.50% of the responses of our audience said Yes and 37.50% of the responses said No.
